For property managers
Attach a rent-increase notice
Fill the official rent-increase notice for a lease, prefilled from the tenancy.
How to attach it
- Open the lease, then the Money tab (or the Forms tab).
- In the Rent increase section, choose Attach the rent-increase notice (Ontario LTB N1).
- The form opens already filled in with the tenant, address, new rent, and dates from the lease. Check every field and fill anything that is missing.
- Choose Generate. The filled notice is saved against the lease, and you can preview or download it.
The notice is kept under the lease's Forms tab so you can find it whenever you need it.
Good to know
- This is tooling, not legal advice. Confirm the amount, the effective date, and the notice period against your province's rules before you serve the notice.
- The notice form must be set up by your administrator before it can be filled. If it shows "Not available yet", ask them to upload it.
