Compose and e-sign a lease

Build a lease from clauses and send it for electronic signature, all in Wealtharu.

Before you start

  • Lease composition and e-sign are available on all plans.
  • Province rules for deposits, rent, and required clauses show with a PREVIEW mark and a "tooling, not legal advice" note until a lawyer signs off. Review them before you rely on them.

Steps

  1. Open the lease from Leases, then go to Documents and signing.
  2. Use the lease builder to turn clauses on or off. Required clauses stay on. Advanced clauses ask you to confirm "I understand" before you can include them. A live preview shows the document as you build it.
  3. Select Generate to create the PDF. Wealtharu checks everything again and stops with a clear message if a required field is missing.
  4. Send it for e-signature. Each party signs on their own secure link.

What happens next

  • When every required signer has signed, the lease is marked signed, a final copy is saved, and everyone is notified.
  • Other documents you create against the lease, like forms or the pre-authorized debit form, use the same signing flow but stay separate. They never count toward executing the lease itself.

Notes

  • Generating the same document twice does nothing extra. It will not create duplicates or send duplicate emails.
