Switch between your accounts

Belong to more than one account? You can switch between them without signing out. This is common for property managers who work with more than one landlord, or anyone who owns more than one business on Wealtharu.

Before you start

  • You only see the switcher if you are a member of two or more accounts. With a single account there is nothing to switch and the control is hidden.
  • Switching changes which account every screen is scoped to. Your role can be different in each account, so the menu and what you can do may change after you switch.

Steps

  1. On a computer, look at the top bar. Next to the theme and notification controls there is a button showing your current account name with a small arrow. Click it.
  2. Pick the account you want from the list. Each entry shows the account name and your role there. The one you are in is marked Current.
  3. On a phone, open the menu from the More tab in the bottom bar. The account switcher is at the top of the drawer under Switch Account. Tap the account you want.
  4. Wealtharu re-scopes everything to that account and takes you to its dashboard.

What happens next

  • The whole app now shows that account's properties, leases, money, and settings. Your active account is remembered in this browser until you switch again.
  • Each browser has one active account at a time. If you have a second tab open, it re-scopes to the new account the next time you move around in it.

Troubleshooting

  • I do not see the switcher. You are only a member of one account, so there is nothing to switch between. To be added to another account, ask its owner to invite you by email.
  • I switched but a page looks different. Your role in the new account may be different. What you can see and do follows your role in whichever account is active.
  • I am using the demo. The read-only demo cannot switch accounts. Sign in to your own account to use the switcher.
