Pay from a text or email link
When your rent is due, Wealtharu can text or email you a reminder with a secure Pay link (it looks like wealtharu.com/pay/...). This guide explains what that link does and how to pay from it.
What the link does
The link takes you to your tenant portal to pay securely. For your safety it does not show your rent details to anyone who just has the link. Instead it sends you to sign in first, then straight to your payment screen. So it is safe even if the text is forwarded or seen by someone else.
Steps
- Open the reminder text or email and tap the Pay link.
- If you are not signed in, you land on the sign-in page. Sign in with your tenant email and password.
- You arrive on Your home, on the Pay your rent panel showing your current balance.
- Select Pay your rent, enter your card details in the secure form, and confirm.
That's it. Your payment goes against your oldest unpaid rent first and your balance updates right away. For the full walkthrough of paying options, see How to pay your rent.
Troubleshooting
- The link showed "This page could not be found." That was an older, fixed problem. Open the link again, or just sign in at the app and pay from Your home. If it still happens, tell your property manager.
- It asks me to sign in and I don't have a password. Find the original invite email from your property manager and accept it to set a password, then use the pay link again. If you can't find it, ask your manager to resend the invite.
- I'd rather not click a link. You never have to. Sign in to Wealtharu directly and pay from the Pay your rent panel on Your home. It's the same secure screen the link takes you to.
- Prefer e-Transfer or cash? Those are arranged with your manager and confirmed on their side. Ask them for instructions and they'll log it against your balance.
The link is just a shortcut to your own secure payment screen. Your rent amount is never shown until you sign in.
